TYPES OF TRAINING
The three main types of training are in person, hybrid, and online. There are benefits to each, which will be outlined below.
In person training allows you to interact face-to-face with your employees. This is likely a comfortable style of training due to prior years of schooling, so it can feel familiar. It is easy for employees to ask questions quickly and the training can be interactive between the team. In-person training can be done on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis as seen fit by management.
Hybrid training courses allow for in-person interaction as well as self-paced virtual learning. Hybrid training is attractive to many organizations because it is structured in a way to allow employees to discuss their virtual findings in person.
Online training is more convenient and less expensive than in-person training. This option is appealing to most because there is the freedom to complete training on one's own time. Organizations can create a calendar so that employees can gauge their assignments and make sure they are completing all set training courses on time. In addition, all training can be reviewed immediately so that employees can track their progress.
