HR / Finance Associate (Part-Time)

Position Summary

The HR & Finance Associate is a multifaceted role responsible for supporting the human resources and finance functions within the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of these critical business areas, from personnel management, recruiting, to financial and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, interpersonal, and financial skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain HR records, including employee files and databases.
  • Support benefits administration and assist employees with HR-related inquiries.
  • Help implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Participate in employee engagement and development initiatives.

Finance:

  • Assist with financial data entry, record-keeping, and processing invoices and expenses.
  • Generate financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Collaborate with financial analysts to perform basic financial analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits and financial compliance.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage and maintain various HR and finance documents and files.
  • Provide executive administrative support as required, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HR and finance software, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and financial regulations is a plus.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive HR and financial information.
  • Previous experience in HR or finance roles is advantageous.
