Position Summary

Are you an excellent communicator who can translate complex information into clear, concise, and appealing content? showd.me is seeking an experienced Head of Content and Instructional Designer with a strong background in post-acute healthcare compliance to join our dynamic team. This individual should be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment and can develop training materials. A large percentage of this role is research and understanding the healthcare compliance space. 

 

As an Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective training programs and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in compliance and instructional design will be instrumental in educating and empowering employees to maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethical practices.

 

An ideal candidate is excited about developing creative, modern, and engaging training solutions for primarily front-line medical staff and senior living care associates. You must be a talented designer, effective communicator, and efficient project manager with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.

 

The Head of Content and Instructional Designer will be a creative and passionate stakeholder, with proven analytical capabilities and design skills, demonstrate extreme attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, possess a high level of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to tackle ambiguous obstacles.

 

**80% of the role will be graphic design and building interactive eLearning, 20% other responsibilities. A portfolio or work samples are required for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, compliance officers, and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop learning objectives for post-acute healthcare compliance

• Conduct thorough research on post-acute healthcare compliance regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends to ensure training materials are up to date and relevant

• Evaluate existing training to identify opportunities to maximize the effectiveness of learning, through re-design

• Scope, design and develop training that is both engaging and informative

• Develop storyboards and scripts

• Convert storyboards into animated, interactive eLearning modules

• Manage content source files in shared libraries

• Leverage technology to improve learners’ access to knowledge and provide just-in-time learning

• Collaborate with both internal employees and external vendors/clients

• Participate in a community of learning professionals to share best practices and identify emerging learning needs

• Support  the marketing teams design needs for collaterals, social media posts, fliers etc.

 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a BS/BA degree in a related applicable field or + 8 years of experience 

• Proficient in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or Captivate

• Proficient in Synthesia or similar tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

• Proficient in video editing and audio editing

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Applications

• Experience in producing content in multiple languages

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing functionality of courses

• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies

• Strong project management and boundary-setting skills that ensure timely turnaround of deliverables

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and content editing capabilities

• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer with a focus on post-acute healthcare compliance.

• In-depth knowledge of post-acute healthcare compliance regulations, such as HIPAA, OSHA, CMS guidelines, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.

 

Compensation

At showd.me, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits.  Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and specific office location.

The annual total cash compensation range is $125,000- $150,000. However, actual salaries can vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies, as well as location.
